DMT (N,N-dimethyltryptamine)

The simplest tryptamine hallucinogen, MW 188.27 g/mol, orally inactive due to MAO metabolism; active when smoked (25-60 mg) or combined with MAO inhibitors (ayahuasca). Endogenous in trace amounts in humans.
