What's the difference between reconstruction and just observing the crime scene?+
Reconstruction is inferential. You're not directly observing the event as it happened; you're assembling physical evidence and analytical findings to build an account of how the scene was created. Bloodstain patterns, weapon trajectories, and other evidence pieces combine to tell the story.
What kinds of evidence go into a reconstruction?+
