Piezoelectric Transducer
Definition
A quartz or ceramic crystal sensor mounted in a barrel port that converts chamber pressure to a measurable electrical charge. The basis of all modern SAAMI and CIP pressure testing; produces the full pressure-time curve rather than just a peak value.
