Mandelin reagent

Ammonium metavanadate (NH4VO3) in concentrated sulphuric acid. Useful for amphetamines (orange-red), MDMA (dark blue-black) and cocaine (yellow-orange). The Mandelin-Marquis panel is recommended for field distinction of MDMA from PMA-containing tablets.
