Fragment identification

The assignment of a bone fragment to a specific skeletal element (rib, long-bone shaft, vertebral arch, cranial vault, etc.) and anatomical region, using preserved articular surfaces, muscle attachment sites, cortical thickness ratios, and cross-sectional shape.
