Co-oximetry

Spectrophotometric analysis of blood that simultaneously quantifies oxyhaemoglobin, deoxyhaemoglobin, carboxyhaemoglobin, methaemoglobin, sulphhaemoglobin, and total haemoglobin by their distinct absorption wavelengths. The primary diagnostic instrument for CO, cyanide-associated colour change, and H2S poisoning.
