Strontium Peroxide (SrO2)
Definition
An initiating compound used in some lead-free primer formulations, particularly in Norma Sintox cartridges. Contributes Sr to the GSR particle signature. Sr is less common in environmental backgrounds than Zn or K, giving better analytical specificity.
