SDO
Definition
Standards Development Organisation: a body with formal processes for publishing consensus standards. ASTM International, ANSI, and BSI are examples. OSAC submits its technical standards to SDOs for publication so they carry the procedural legitimacy of consensus standards, not just expert opinion.
