Hydroxyapatite (HA)

The calcium phosphate mineral [Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2] that comprises approximately 70 per cent of bone mass; survives fire at all temperature stages, sintering and recrystallising at high temperatures; the residual mineral of calcined bone.
