Externally Visible Characteristic (EVC)
Definition
An observable physical trait (eye colour, hair colour, skin tone, height, facial morphology) whose variation in the population is partly genetically determined and can be predicted from SNP genotypes. EVC predictions are investigative intelligence, not identification evidence.
