EMPOP SAM2
Definition
The submission quality-assurance module used by the EMPOP database to screen incoming mtDNA sequences for phylogenetic inconsistencies, sequencing artefacts, and nomenclature errors. Only sequences passing SAM2 are included in the frequency-estimation dataset.
