Bullet wipe (metal wipe)

The grey-black ring of bullet-jacket material (grease, metal oxides, carbon) deposited around the margin of an entry hole as the bullet's periphery contacts the wound-channel edges. Asymmetric for oblique entry, symmetric for perpendicular entry.
